Mission
The Roundtable on Critical Care Policy is a nonprofit organization that provides a forum for leaders in critical care and public health to advance a common federal policy agenda designed to improve the quality, delivery and efficiency of critical care in the United States.
The Roundtable will serve this mission through -

Regular dialogue with key participants and leaders to ensure the quality and value of policy advocacy efforts and positions;

Development of priority legislative and regulatory recommendations and positions;

Awareness-building targeted at policy influentials of the importance of federal changes to optimize resources and infrastructure for the delivery of U.S. critical care;

Ongoing discussions with key federal agencies to foster appropriate collaboration and to help inform broader advocacy and awareness efforts; and
-
Direct legislative and, where appropriate, regulatory advocacy for programs that can build critical care capacity, enhance the nation's critical care/disaster preparedness capabilities, improve the environment in which practitioners provide critical care, and foster valuable innovation and research in this arena.
